Governance, Risk & Compliance Service Leader, PwC Mainland China & Hong Kong
Claire Qian is a Partner of PwC Risk Assurance and is the Governance, Risk and Compliance (“GRC”) Service Leader of PwC China and Hong Kong.
Claire has 20 years of working experience, starting with a finance auditor role with PwC Singapore, followed by a Corporate Lead Auditor’s role with a Singapore listed company. She re-joined PwC Shanghai in 2008 to mainly serve multinational companies operating in China and “going-out” Chinese enterprises to enhance their corporate governance, compliance and risk management framework. Recently she has been devoted in developing digitalised solutions to enhance company’s governance and continuous monitoring programme.
Claire has been invited by several institutions (e.g., ACCA China / MPA program of HK Polytechnic University / SEC) to host C-suite workshops and deliver keynote speeches on China corporate governance, Future of Finance and compliance related topics, and has also been invited to multiple public events and media interviews (e.g., CIIE, CGTN “China 24” live broadcast, The Paper) to share recent trends of compliance and emerging technology.
