Cathleen Ye

Cathleen is the Senior Program Manager at MIT Innovation Node. She is a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is also certified as a Level II Psychological counsellor. As a dedicated practitioner of mindfulness for over 12 years in different places, Netherlands, Myanmar, Thailand, Mainland China and Hong Kong, she has recently completed a the train the trainer programme with the Oxford Mindfulness Centre and became a mindfulness-based cognitive therapy trainer.

Prior to joining MIT Innovation Node, Cathleen was the Project Director of a multinational consultancy firm. She was the first full-time employee in Mainland China of the company and took a leadership role in developing the business from scratch.

Cathleen holds a master’s degree in Guidance and Counselling from The HK Polytechnic University.

Mrs. Wei Kang joined ABB in 2006 upon her university graduation and has been serving the company for more than 12 years, accumulating extensive business management experiences at a range of division and LBU positions in Front-End functions. She even participated in the M&A of Thomas&Betts company during 2012-2013. Effective from October of 2018, she changed her role to Back-End focusing on Quality & Operations, to cultivate her capabilities in lean production, OpEx and Supply Chain Management, with continuous supports to business growth from cost control perspective. After receiving her OneMBA degree from Xiamen University, she made a big career change to a global role in Schneider company.

Agile, Innovative, Dare to Disrupt, Diversity, are those cultures that she likes the most. She always holds a great passion to communicate with great people to better polish herself, even, grow & help other women leaders to enhance the women leadership in the global arena. A life-long learner, plus an active contributor, as she is.

She is an outspoken, straightforward communicator in both professional and personal life, her mentoring style combines personal business experience with world-class coaching techniques. Over the past 5 years, she has been both a Mentee and a Mentor of the GWC program which adds another layer of understanding to the depth of this mentoring program and will be for the foreseeable future.
