How do women manage stress in life?
How do we find balance in our lives amidst the pandemic?
And how do we maintain that balance and make sure to keep all of our options open?
These are some of the thoughtful questions Dr. Alexander Lin, Chief of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department and Director of Women’s Health of Jiahui Health, opened with during his presentation at GWC’s Gemstone Club online event on January 21st. Indeed these key questions encapsulated much of our focus and intention for this event. In partnership with Jiahui International Hospital, our event included experts from the hospital along with inspiring speakers from a variety of areas related to health, mindfulness and wellness. In answering these questions, Dr. Lin noted that being successful may involve facing a lot of pressure. Especially in a bustling city like Shanghai, mental wellness is not a given and may only feel in existence when you think you’re on top of and in control of all areas of your life.
